About Richie Stringini


I'm guessing you've never heard of me? Well, for starters, I'm Richie Stringini, a member of the five membered band called US5. You might know me, you might not. I'm about to tell you a little about myself to help you learn though, alright? Good. Like I said, my real name is Richie Stringini, you know, like Richie Rich and all that good stuff? Yeah, just don't call me that, and we'll be good. I'm 17 years old, born on November 28, 1988. I'm half German, half American, and all the orgins like that. The band US5 is a German band, and most of all our websites are in German, but hey, google is your friend. It translates stuff for you, and yes this does mean I can speak fluent German, but don't ask me to, okay? Thanks. On to the facts, how about that? I started performing at the age of six, I was in commercials, and movies. One movie was called "Rule number one", not sure if you've heard of it, it was in 1994, somewhere around there. But before joining US5, I was on my way to becoming an actor. Like I said, many commercials, and I went to you wouldn't believe how many audtions, maybe it's because of my cute face? Kidding, kidding. I did most of the auditioning in California, but I was orignally born not in Germany, but in Illinois. I know, it's kind of weird to think about that but hey, I was on my way to an acting career. In some commercials I did say a few singing notes in when I was a bit older, then people realized I could sing. So, my friends and I created 'US5' to see if we could make it. And to our suprise, we did. One thing people should know about me is that I'm very ambitious and professional. I never let anyone out do me in anything, I'm always up for the challenge, nothing can keep me down. Other than all that, I would be known as the comedian of the group, I keep everyone in a good cheerful mood for the performances and have everyone laughing by the time we're done. There is no dull moment around me, my band-mates will tell you that. Anyone who will listen to me I keep in stitch with my impersonations and my constant energy. Like the commercials say, red bull gives you wings. It really does, it makes you feel all energized and all that good stuff, right? Hell yeah. On to my family, they're one thing that's the most important to me. I love my family, and I have an older brother. My family inspires me, because all of them can pretty much sing, and that's where I got the talent from. Don't ask me how I was entertaining people at the age of six, because only my mother can tell you. She amused everyone with me and my talents, but hey I'm not bragging or anything. She tried real hard to get me where I am today, and another saying 'Hard work pays off' and you gotta know that is true. You don't TRY if you know you can DO it. Trust me on this one, it's not as easy as it looks having all these responsibilities. You might think you want to do what we do, and other people do, it takes alot of work. Vor US5 war Richie auf dem Weg eine erfolgreiche Schauspielkarriere aufzubauen. Richie ist das Energiebündel und der Komiker von US5. Er veräppelt gerne seine Bandkollegen und ahmt ihre Stimmen und Verhaltensweisen bei allen möglichen und unmöglichen Gelegenheiten nach. Richie:Šta se desilo iza zatvorenih vrata,je moja stvar.To se tiče samo mene i nje.I o tome neću u javnosti pričati.
BRAVO:Ali postoje i tračevi,da je Marta trudna i to sa tobom....?
Richie(smijeh):Trudna?!Ok,bilo je više od poljubaca između nas-ali trudna?Ne,to ne mogu sebi zamisliti.Dosad mi nije ništa rekla.
BRAVO:U poslednje dve godine uvijek si govorio da nevin želiš ući u brak i da tragaš za velikom ljubavi...Je li se šta na tome promenilo?

Richie:Mogu misliti da je neki novinar pitao šta je to između nje i mene,i da je ona slučajno progovorila tj. nenamerno.Ne mogu ništa loše reći o njoj i to nikada i ne bi...

RICHIE'S TRÄUME
1. Einmal habe ich geträumt, dass ich mit meinem Vater picknicken war. In der Nähe dieser Stelle stand ein Dixie-Klo. Plötzlich erwachte es zum Leben. Ich wusste, dass dieses Klo es auf mich abgesehen hatte, und habe das meinem Vater gesagt. Der dacht ich will ihn verarschen.

2. Oft laufe ich im Traum nackt durch die Schule oder den Supermarkt. Das ist so peinlich, dass ich gleich aufwache.

3. In einem Traum hatte mein Bruder den Körper von Gollum aus dem Film Der Herr der Ringe. Wir sind mit dem Auto meines Vaters gefahren. Dabei sind wir in einer tiefen Pfütze gelandet und mein Bruder ertrank im Seitenfach des Autos…

Deutung: Der Bruder in Richies Traum stellt sein anderes ich da, eine Seite, die er an sich nicht so mag. Doch zum Glück ist diese nicht mächtig, sonst könnte Gollum nicht so leicht ertrinken. Dass Richie nackt herumläuft und ihm dies peinlich ist, beweist, dass es ihm schwer fällt, sein wahres Ich zu zeigen. Das Dixie-Klo könnte den Mutterleib darstellen. Vielleicht, weil er gegenüber seiner Mutter eigenständiger werden will…


Richie wird von den weiblichen US5-Fans am meisten von allen in der Band umschwärmt. Mit seinem süßen Lächeln ist der jüngste der fünf Boys der Publikumsmagnet. Er ist ein Energiebündel und der Komiker der Jungs. Ständig neckt Richie die anderen und imitiert sie.
Mit vollem Namen heißt er Christoph Richard Stringini. Seine Spitznamen sind Chris, Richie, String oder, wegen seiner Ähnlichkeit mit US-Star Cameron Diaz auch Cameron. Bei US5 wird er Richie genannt, um nicht mit Chris Watrin verwechselt zu werden.
Geboren wurde Richie am 28.11.1988 in Chicago, aufgewachsen ist er in Wheaton in Illinois. Er ist 1,73 m groß und hat blonde Haare und blaue Augen. Sein Sternzeichen ist Schütze. Wie Izzy ist Richie Linkshänder. Richie futtert am liebsten Big Macs oder Spaghetti Bolognese und trinkt dazu gern eine Cola.
Sein Lieblingshobby ist ziemlich gruselig. Richie hat ein Spukhaus. Das baute er sich mit elf Jahren im Keller des Elternhauses aus Bettlaken und Kürbisköpfen. Das Spukhaus wurde immer größer und irgendwann in der Stadt bekannt: "Ich konnte sogar Eintritt kassieren und musste schließlich on ein altes Lagerhaus in Chicago umziehen, weil unser Keller zu klein wurde." Heute ist sein "Wheaton Jaycees Haunted House" mit beweglichen Monstern und unheimlichen Geräuschen eine Touristenattraktion. Auch sonst steht Richie, der selbst nur vor Schlangen und Spinnen Angst hat, total auf Horror. Sein Lieblingstag ist Halloween und im TV sieht er zu gern Horrorfilme, von denen er mit seinen Freunden schon ein paar selbst gedreht hat.
Weniger düster ist Richies Traumreiseziel: Die Seychellen. Sie mag er wegen der herrlichen Strände. Meist zieht es ihn in der knappen Freizeit aber zu seiner Familie nach Hause: zu seiner Katze Cookie, seinem vier Jahre älteren Bruder Bobby und seiner Mama Kathleen sowie Robert Stringini, der Rechtsanwalt ist.
Die beiden sind allerdings nicht seine leiblichen Eltern. Genau wie Bobby adoptierten die Stringinis, die keine eigenen Kinder zeugen können, auch Richie. Als er in Chicago zur Welt gekommen und gerade vier Tage alt war nahmen sie Richie mit nach Wheaton. "Ich weiß bis heute nicht wer meine echten Eltern sind. Aber ich will es auch nicht wissen. Meine Adoptiveltern sind die besten der Welt." Richies biologische Mutter soll polnische Vorfahren haben und angeblich eine richtige Schönheit sein.
Wie seine ganze Familie ist Richie streng katholisch. Er betet morgens und abends mit Hilfe einer Rosenkranz-Kette. Als gläubiger Katholik will er erst Sex mit derjenigen Frau haben, die er liebt und heiratet. Deshalb ist Richie bislang Jungfrau. Allerdings probierte er schon mit seinen beiden ersten Freundinnen Zungenküsse und Petting aus: mit Lauren Cory, die auf seine Schule ging und mit US-Star Lalaine Vergara-Paras aus der Serie "Lizzie McGuire", von der er sich wegen seiner US5-Karriere trennte.
Richies Schulzeit war katastrophal: "Ich habe Dyslexie, eine angeborene Lernschwäche und bringe Zahlen und Begriffe durcheinander. Ich wurde deswegen oft ausgelacht." Er musste häufig die Schule wechseln und bekam zuletzt Privatunterricht. Aber er war ehrgeizig und schaffte 2004 seinen Highschool-Abschluss sogar zwei Jahre früher als normale Schüler. Der Grund dafür war, dass er sich ganz auf US5 konzentrieren wollte, denn damit erfüllt sich Richies größter Wunsch: Im Rampenlicht der Öffentlichkeit zu stehen.
Damit fing er schon als dreieinhalbjähriger Knirps an. Er spielte erst in Werbespots und bald schon in Musicals und TV-Serien mit und war in der Teenie-Filmkomödie "Rule number one" dabei. Alles sah nach einer Schauspielkarriere aus. Ans Singen in einer Boyband dachte er zunächst überhaupt nicht.
Doch es kam anders: "In den Sommerferien bin ich mit meiner Mutter immer für zwei Monate nach Kalifornien gereist und habe an Castings für Film- und Fernsehrollen teilgenommen. Ich bin dort weit gekommen. Hätte ich weiter gemacht, hätte ich sicher irgendwann eine größere Sollte ergattert. Aber dann hat meine Agentin mich zu einem Casting für eine neue TV-Show geschickt. Das war Schicksal, denn es ging um 'Big in America'. Damit begann mein neues Leben."
